Serving The Greater Denver Area

Protection of cottages

A country cottage is one of the most promising areas of construction in our time. People get tired of the hustle and bustle of city life, its noise and speed. Therefore, every weekend people travel en masse from megacities to get some fresh air and enjoy peace. And suburban plots are becoming more and more expensive, where a wealthy person can easily realize their wildest architectural fantasies. And on the outskirts of cities, real palaces grow, three-story, four-story, which amaze with their beauty and uniqueness.

You want to live in a house like this all the time, but it's not that easy. Firstly, the cottage itself is a long process, and for many it has been going on for more than one year. Meanwhile, the man lives somewhere in the city, far from the cottage. And secondly, it is often more profitable to live somewhere in the city center in terms of travel time to work - in large cities, it may take a couple of hours of traffic jams to get from the outskirts to the center in the morning. That's how it turns out that the owner of the cottage lives in another place, and comes there only on weekends. Obviously, a country house needs reliable and permanent protection from possible thieves. Reinforced steel doors can act as such protection, which will become a reliable barrier in the path of an uninvited guest. Steel and armored doors are now an indispensable attribute of almost every home, from apartments to cottages. Their prices are quite expensive, but you should not skimp on such an important element of your home, and almost every cottage owner can afford the best doors.

In case of some financial difficulties, iron doors can become an alternative to steel ones. They are worse in quality than steel ones, but they are also practically impossible for a random attacker to knock out or crack. The cost of iron doors is less than steel doors.

For a cottage, window protection is no less important than reinforced doors. In a sparsely populated place, every window should be protected from outside penetration – and welded grilles on windows that can only be unlocked from the inside or not unlocked at all will help in this.

Home protection is very important, and it should be taken care of from the first days of construction. It is also important when people live in it all the time, and the expression "my house is my fortress" should always be applied in practice, sparing no money to strengthen their home and all the entrances to it – from the back door to the attic window. DJCC Stands With Israel

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, killing hundreds of Israelis and wounding even more. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel was at war to defend itself and gave the order for the IDF to commence "Operation Swords of Iron."
The Denver Jewish Chamber of Commerce stands with our community and partners in the support of the victims of terror. In this time more than ever, we must band together and show solidarity. We unwaveringly support Israel’s right to defend itself.

We extend our deepest condolences to any who have suffered loss at the hands of this unspeakable violence.

Denver Jewish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

We Stand With you Israel.
